Alison Paxson

Alison Paxson is an experienced policy and program manager currently working at Healthy Schools Campaign since November 2023. Prior to this role, Alison served as a Senior Policy Associate at Children's Defense Fund from December 2018 to November 2023, where strong leadership was displayed in statewide policy advocacy for children's education equity, focusing on whole child well-being and student health. Other notable positions include Policy & Communications Associate and Policy Fellow at Children's Defense Fund, where efforts concentrated on child policy initiatives and legislative advocacy. Alison's early career involved roles as a Policy Researcher for the Ohio Democratic Party and an Urban Leaders Fellow, alongside leadership experience as an AmeriCorps Team Leader at City Year. Alison holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Spanish minor from The Ohio State University.
