Marisa Mowat

Marisa Mowat is an experienced leader in maternal and child health, currently serving as Executive Director and Director of Operations at the Healthy Start Coalition of Hillsborough County, Inc. since February 2013. In this role, Marisa Mowat provides strategic oversight of operational and financial functions, implements continuous quality improvement efforts, and fosters essential relationships with community agencies. Previously, Marisa Mowat managed operations and strategic planning for six Family Resource Centers as Director of the Children's Board Family Resource Centers and directed the Children’s Advocacy Center at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital. Additionally, Marisa Mowat has experience as an adjunct faculty instructor at the University of South Florida College of Public Health, teaching undergraduate courses in Public Health. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Public Health and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, both from the University of South Florida.
