Deborah Coffy currently serves as a Youth Advisor for the Justice for Youth Survivors Initiative at the National Black Women's Justice Institute, where co-leadership focuses on research and advocacy to support survivors of gender-based violence. Involved in various organizations, Deborah participates in the Free From Fear Cohort with Southerners On New Ground, serves as a Junior Advisory Representative with Black Girls Smile Inc., and is a Fierce & Free Cohort Member at the Transgender Law Center, emphasizing leadership development for Black Trans individuals. Additional roles include Operations Admin and Community Manager at eres., Communications Fellow at Community Change, and a Respite Peer Supporter at Peer Support Space. With ongoing projects like the Thrivology Youth Leader at Healthy Teen Network and Youth Organizer for the Reproductive Justice Action League at the Illinois Caucus for Adolescent Health, Deborah combines a strong educational background in Clinical Psychology and Political Science from the University of Central Florida with a commitment to justice and advocacy.
