Ian Roberts

Ian Roberts has extensive work experience in the field of bioinformatics and therapeutic technology. Ian started their career as a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge in 1998 and later joined the Medical Research Council as a Senior Investigator Scientist in 2002. In 2011, they became the Director of Informatics at Population Genetics and remained in this role until 2015. Ian then worked as a Senior Bioinformatician at 14M Genomics from 2015 to 2016. Ian also founded Assert Informatics Ltd in 2015 and served as its Founder until 2018. In 2016, Ian joined Healx and took on several leadership roles including Head of Bioinformatics, Chief Technology Officer, and currently Director of Therapeutic Technology.

Ian Roberts attended the University of Cambridge from 1997 to 1998, where they obtained a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General. Ian further pursued their education at the same institution from 1997 to 2000 and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the same field of study.
