Matthew Seddon is a seasoned Chemoinformatician currently serving as a Senior Chemoinformatician at Healx since September 2022. Previously, Matthew held the position of Chemoinformatics Data Scientist at BenevolentAI from October 2018 to September 2022, where responsibilities included model development and evaluation for drug discovery, Python development for AI platforms, and deploying models on cloud infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes. Matthew's academic background includes a PhD in Chemoinformatics from the University of Sheffield, supported by a CASE studentship from the BBRSC in partnership with AstraZeneca. Earlier roles include serving as a Web Archive Quality Control Officer at The British Library and an Information Assistant at City University London, along with voluntary work at Little Chalfont Community Library. Matthew has also earned an MA in Library and Information Studies from UCL, an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BSc in Economics from the University of Essex.
