Cassie Ludwig has a diverse work experience in the medical field. In 2008, they worked as a Research Assistant at Duke University, where they contributed to mapping monociliated and multiciliated fourth ventricular wall cells for pediatric medulloblastomas. From 2016 to 2017, they were an Internal Medicine Resident Physician at Sutter Health. Subsequently, they joined Stanford Health Care as a Resident Physician in Ophthalmology from 2017 to 2020. In 2015, Cassie became a Co-Founder of Healyx Labs, a company focused on developing a medical device for low-income countries to provide Negative Pressure Wound Therapy. Cassie joined Massachusetts Eye and Ear in 2020 as a Vitreoretinal Surgery Fellow. Currently, Cassie is working as a Vitreoretinal Surgeon at Stanford University School of Medicine, starting from September 2022.
