Emily McLaren has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Emily is currently working at Hearst UK as the Creative Strategy Director, a role they have held since September 2023. Prior to this, they worked at HYPEBEAST as a Business Manager from August 2021 to September 2022. Before that, they were a Business Development Manager and Senior Agency Solutions Executive at News UK from August 2020 to August 2021. Emily also worked at Condé Nast Britain in various sales executive roles from September 2017 to January 2020. Emily has experience in event promotion as Head of Promotions at Hijacked Festival from September 2016 to July 2017 and Promotions Manager at Our House Events from September 2013 to July 2017. Additionally, they have worked in marketing and PR at Arts On The Move in May 2015, as a Fine Art and Antiques Assistant at Cheffins from April 2015 to June 2015, and as a Visitor Guide at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum from October 2016 to May 2017.
Emily McLaren attended Bishop's Stortford College from 2009 to 2013. Emily then went on to study English Literature and History of Art with Study Abroad at the University of Exeter from 2013 to 2017. In 2015, they also spent a year studying at the University of Valencia.
