Luiz Fernando de Souza

Luiz Fernando de Souza is an experienced aerospace professional with a strong background in flight test instrumentation. Currently serving as the Flight Test Instrumentation Manager at Heart Aerospace since February 2022, Luiz previously held the position of Head of Flight Test Instrumentation at Calidus, LLC from November 2020 to January 2022. Earlier roles include Flight Test Instrumentation Engineer at Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation and extensive experience at Embraer, where Luiz contributed to numerous aircraft programs from 1982 to 2019. Luiz began the career as an Electronics Technician at the Aerospace Science and Technology Command. Educational credentials include a degree in Aeronautical Engineering Technology from Silvergate Evaluation Inc and a technical qualification in Electronics from Escola Técnica Everardo Passos.
