Danielle Takacs

Danielle Takacs is an experienced professional in policy, advocacy, and government relations, currently serving as Senior Manager of Policy, Federal Advocacy & Engagement at Heart & Stroke since May 2022. Prior to this role, Danielle held the position of Manager, Federal Government Relations at TD from September 2016 to January 2022, where engagement with federal politics and its impact on the financial sector was a key focus. Danielle also has a notable political background as a candidate for the Liberal Party of Canada in Brantford-Brant, achieving significant fundraising and voter mobilization milestones during campaigns. Additional roles include Owner-Operator at Humber Strategies, Director of Legislative and Political Affairs at the Ontario Catholic School Trustees' Association, and Vice-President at Pathway Group. Danielle has contributed to several media platforms and holds a Master's Degree in Political Science from the University of Guelph, as well as a Specialist Hon. BA in Peace & Conflict Studies from the University of Toronto.
