Pablo Hofbauer

Pablo Hofbauer has a diverse work experience. From 2021 to present, they have been a Co-Founder and CSO and Co-Founder and Head of Platform Development at HeartBeat.bio AG. From 2018 to present, they have been an Instructor at CamBioScience Ltd. From 2016 to present, they have been a PhD Student at IMBA - Institute of Molecular Biotechnology, Vienna, Austria, where they co-developed the first self-organizing cardiac organoids (cardioids). From 2015 to present, they have been an External Lecturer at Fachhochschule Technikum Wien and a Visiting Scientist at University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Junior Researcher at Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Experimental and Clinical Traumatology.

Pablo Hofbauer obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Fachhochschule Technikum Wien in 2013. Pablo then went on to earn their Master's Degree in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine from the same school in 2015. In the same year, they also attended the University of Minnesota, though they did not earn a degree. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Biology from the University of Vienna in 2020.
