Forrest Meggers has an extensive work experience that spans over a decade. From 2003 to 2006, they were the Owner of Buildgreen Design and Consulting. From 2005 to 2006, they were an EGB National Committee Member at the U.S. Green Building Council. From 2006 to 2011, they were a Research Assistant and Doctoral Candidate at ETH Zürich. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Senior Researcher and Module Coordinator for Module I: Low Exergy at the National University of Singapore. From 2013 to 2018, they were an Assistant Professor Department of Architecture at the National University of Singapore and an Associate Professor at Princeton University. Since 2018, they have been a Co-Founder at Hearth Labs.
Forrest Meggers obtained a Doctor of Science degree from ETH Zürich in Building Systems between 2006 and 2011. Forrest also obtained a MS degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Iowa between 2003 and 2005, and a BSE degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iowa between 1999 and 2005. Additionally, Forrest Meggers holds a LEED AP certification from the USGBC.
