Milton Vicenteno has a strong background in environmental health and safety, with experience in various leadership roles. Milton started their career at Mars in 1990 as a Safety Security Environmental Engineer, managing compliance and programs for a large manufacturing facility. Milton then moved on to Chiquita / Fresh Express, where they served as a Safety, Security, and Health Manager, responsible for employee safety and environmental performance. Milton later joined Chiquita Brands International as the Corporate Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager for North America, leading EHS and security efforts across multiple operations. Vicenteno then transitioned to Hearthside Food Solutions, where they held positions such as Director of Environmental, Health, and Safety and Corporate Director of Human Resources and Environmental, Health, and Safety. Throughout their career, they have developed and implemented EHS policies, managed regulatory compliance, and provided leadership and guidance in supporting business goals. Additionally, Vicenteno has been involved in the American Society of Safety Engineers as a Vice President of the Greater Chicago Chapter.

Milton Vicenteno has pursued an MBA in Business Management from Roosevelt University. Additionally, they have studied Electrical Engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology. Furthermore, they hold various certifications including Class III Asbestos Operations and Maintenance, DOT - International Intermodal Transportation of Hazardous Materials, Laser Safety Officer, OSHA Authorized 10 and 30 hour Outreach Safety Instructor - General Industry from Northern Illinois University, and Occupational Health and Safety Technologist - OHST from BCSP - Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
