Nala Gauvin

Nala Gauvin is a dedicated professional pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Drake University, with an expected graduation in December 2023. Nala has gained extensive experience as a Veterinary Assistant at Heartland Animal Hospital and as an Emergency Room Veterinary Assistant at Iowa Veterinary Specialties. Nala also held a Shadow Experience position at Whiskey River LLC since January 2022. In leadership roles, Nala served as Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for the Drake University Panhellenic Association and as Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Chair for Delta Gamma. Additionally, Nala worked as a Peer Mentor Academic Consultant at Drake University, assisting incoming students during their transition to university life, and functioned as a Wellness Ambassador.
