Candace Ladd

Candace Ladd, MSW, is an accomplished outreach and development coordinator currently with the Heartland Center for Jobs and Freedom, where significant success includes increasing annual grant funding by five times within two years. Prior experience encompasses roles as a volunteer specialist at the Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault, where extensive volunteer recruitment and training were conducted, and as a strategic initiatives intern at Child Care Aware of America, focusing on grant writing and leadership development for marginalized childcare workers. Candace's diverse background includes client advocacy for domestic violence survivors, activities therapy for incarcerated individuals, and case management for those with severe mental illnesses. Candace holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from Drury University.
