Eric Burkard

Eric Burkard is an experienced Athletic Trainer with a diverse background in rehabilitation and sports medicine. Currently, Eric serves at Heartland Regional Medical Center and NovaCare Rehabilitation since 2022 and 2019, respectively. Previous roles include Athletic Trainer positions at ProgressiveHealth and KORT from 2012 to 2022, where responsibilities involved patient rehabilitation and high school athletic coverage. Eric's extensive experience also includes clinical work at Flexeon Rehabilitation and Hills’ Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy, where Eric developed athletic training programs. Additionally, Eric briefly served as an Adjunct Professor at Millikin University teaching Exercise Physiology. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Exercise Physiology from The College of St. Scholastica and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with a focus on Athletic Training from Millikin University.
