John Passen

John Passen serves as the Controller at Heartland Ventures since October 2023. Previously, John held various positions at Branch from September 2021 to October 2023, including Sr. Director, Head of Accounting, Director of Accounting, and Senior Manager of Accounting. Before Branch, John worked as a Consultant and Specialist at Nationwide from August 2017 to September 2021. John's career began at Deloitte, where John focused on audit from March 2012 to August 2017. John holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, completed between 2019 and 2021, and a degree from the University of South Carolina, earned from 2008 to 2012.
