John Lauten has over 20 years of experience in operations and strategy, mergers & acquisitions, growth strategy, turn-around and supply chain optimization. John has held various roles in finance, sales operations, customer experience, and supply chain management.
Starting in 1998, they were the Global Head of Customer Operations and Supply Chain Management at Scientific Atlanta, Inc., which was acquired by Cisco Systems in 2006. John then became the Head of U.S. & Canada Supply Chain Management CVCM at Cisco from 2007 to 2013.
In 2013, they joined FOX Factory as Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development, where they were part of the leadership team that implemented a Board-sponsored acquisition growth strategy by completing five acquisitions worldwide from 2013-2016.
In 2016, they became a Partner at TechCXO specializing in operations & strategy. John then joined SKULLY Technologies as Chief Operating Officer in 2017, where they relaunched an enthusiast technology consumer product for new investors and built a new engineering and marketing team.
In 2019, they joined Minim as Chief Operating Officer and was responsible for the creation of innovative internet access products, including smart software-driven communications products under the Motorola® brand. Minim merged with Zoom Telephonics in 2020.
John Lauten is currently the Chief Operating Officer at HeatTrak since 2022.
John Lauten has a diverse educational background. John earned an MBA in Finance and International Business from the Texas McCombs School of Business, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the Texas Christian University - M.J. Neeley School of Business, Magna Cum Laude, and completed Executive Education in Supply Chain Management at the Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business. John also attended the University of Miami for Communication and Media Studies and Pine Crest School - Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
