Danny McLain

Danny McLain has held various positions throughout their work experience. Danny currently serves as the Director of Environment Health and Safety at Heavy Machines Inc since May 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Quality Engineer at Praxair Surface Technologies from October 2018 to April 2019. Danny also held multiple roles at Georgia-Pacific LLC, including Safety and Health Leader from April 2016 to September 2018, Safety Manager from January 2014 to September 2018, Environmental Health and Safety Manager from September 2012 to December 2013, and Safety and Quality Leader from August 2011 to September 2012. Before their time at Georgia-Pacific LLC, they served as the Quality, Safety, and Environmental Director at LC Industries from September 2001 to August 2011. Danny's earlier experience includes working as a Chemist at Jesco Resources, Inc. from January 1996 to May 2001 and as a QA Inspector at Hunter Engineering Company from 1985 to 1990.

Danny McLain graduated from Mississippi College in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. In terms of additional certifications, Danny obtained the OSHA Authorized General Industry Trainer certification from the OSHA Safety Training Institute in February 2020. In March 2019, Danny received the GE Aviation Quality/Manufacturing Engineer certification from GE. Additionally, Danny holds certifications including CPR & AED Instructor, Chemical Process Safety Coordinator Certification, Industrial Hygiene Technician, and Safety and Health Certification from Georgia-Pacific LLC.
