Raomal Perera has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Raomal is currently the Founder and Executive Chairman of HEBE Adventures, a company focused on adventure travel. Raomal has extensive experience in the education sector, having worked as an Adjunct Professor at both INSEAD and UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. Raomal has also served as the Chair of the Advisory Board at the Innovation Academy UCD, where they aimed to shape creative minds capable of launching new ventures. Additionally, Raomal has founded Lean Disruptor, a company focused on driving innovation through lean methodologies.
Outside of the education and entrepreneurship sectors, Raomal has served on the Board of Management at Loreto Collge and as an Advisory Board Member for SLASSCOM. Raomal has also been involved in the Cartier Women's Initiative Awards as the Jury President for Europe. Raomal has worked as an independent consultant for Accela, helping the company set up a primary R&D center in Dublin, Ireland. Prior to these roles, Raomal was the Co-Founder and CEO of Valista, a leading provider of payments and mobile service delivery solutions. Raomal led Network365, which later merged with iPIN to form Valista, and provided strategic vision for the company's growth.
Raomal Perera began their education at St. Joseph's College in Colombo 10, Sri Lanka in 1964, where they studied until 1976. However, it is uncertain whether they obtained a degree or pursued any specific field of study during this time. From 1976 to 1979, Raomal Perera attended University College Swansea, where they obtained a BSc in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
