Ashish Saharia

Ashish Saharia has over 16 years of work experience in the technology sector. Ashish began their career in 2003 as a Freelance Consultant and Developer, developing an advanced anti-piracy and licensing software for the Win32 platform. In 2004, they joined Mindflex Solutions as a Team Leader, responsible for System Architecture Planning, Database Design, Coding, and Training/Mentoring. In 2006, they moved to Smarte Inc. as a Tech. Lead, focusing on Web Data Mining using Java and A.I. techniques. In 2012, they joined Heckyl Technologies as Chief Technology Officer, later becoming AVP - Technology and Senior Technical Architect. As AVP - Technology, they were responsible for evaluating and strategizing migration of key components to cloud services, and recommending high-availability architectures for every layer on the application stack. As Senior Technical Architect, they developed a Named Entity Recognition system and a Sentiment Analysis engine in Core Java.

Ashish Saharia has a diverse educational background. Ashish completed a Diploma in Electronics and Video Engineering from St. Xavier's Technical Institute, Mumbai in 1997. Ashish then attended St. Dominic Savio High School, Andheri (East), Mumbai until 2000. In 2000, they received a Bachelor of Information Technology (B.I.T.) from Manipal Academy of Higher Education. From 2003 to 2004, they completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Telecom Technology from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology - SMU. Ashish then received a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Information Technology from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology - SMU in 2005.
