Carsten Hinne

Carsten Hinne is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the logistics and transportation sectors. Currently serving as CEO of Hector Rail AB since April 2024, Carsten Hinne previously held the position of Member of the Executive Board at duisport - Duisburger Hafen AG from January 2022 to May 2023, focusing on international networks, procurement, infrastructure, and HR. Carsten Hinne has also served as Senior Vice President at DB Cargo AG, overseeing Corridor Development for China/New Silk Road and the Industry Sector for Chemicals, Mineral Oil, and Fertilizers. Additional leadership roles include Chairman of the Board/CEO at DB Cargo Eurasia GmbH and CEO of DB Cargo BTT GmbH. Prior to these positions, Carsten Hinne was Managing Director at DB Schenker Rail (UK) Ltd and held various roles at DB Mobility Logistics AG.
