Klaus Astrup Nielsen

Klaus Astrup Nielsen is the Director of Strategy and Innovation at Hedeselskabet since September 2014, overseeing the group's strategic framework and leading innovation initiatives across the organization, which focuses on nature, environment, and energy with significant international presence. Previous roles include Chairman at Blue Biomass A/S, Business Development Executive at O.W. Bunker & Trading A/S, and Project Team Leader for Strategy and Business Development at Cargill Inc, where Klaus managed M&A projects, business development, and strategic planning. Klaus also served as Managing Director at Seatek (UK) Ltd, responsible for overall performance and strategic growth. Klaus holds a Sloan Fellowship MSc from London Business School.
