Simon Coong

Simon Coong has had a varied career in the digital industry. In 2021, they joined Hedgehog Lab as a Senior Designer. Prior to that, they were an Interaction Designer at Qrious from 2020. From 2016 to 2020, they were an Interaction Designer and Front-end Developer at Status Digital, where they worked on creating highly effective integrated digital marketing strategies, websites and mobile apps. From 2013 to 2016, they were a Front-end Developer and UI/UX Designer at NCG, where they were responsible for coding frontend interfaces, UX design, UI design, client liaison, backend and system maintenance, and customer service.

Simon Coong attended Kenton Technology College from 1997 to 1999, where they earned a High School degree in Business Studies. Simon then attended Newcastle College from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a Foundation Degree (FdA) in Digital Media. In 2016, they attended Springboard and obtained a UX Design certification.
