Hugh Law

Hugh Law has a diverse work experience across various companies and roles. Hugh currently works as a Senior User Interface Engineer at Hedgey since December 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Lead UX Developer at BetterExaminations, a company that specializes in exam management and e-assessment platforms. Hugh was involved in the original setup and development of BetterExaminations from February 2020 to December 2021. Before that, they worked as a Lead UI/UX Developer at TERMINALFOUR, a web content management company, where they contributed to the improvement of information delivery through various channels from June 2014 to February 2020. Hugh also worked as a Web Developer at the same company from May 2011 to May 2014.

In addition, Hugh Law had entrepreneurial experiences as a Director at Tellerfone Ltd from January 2010 to May 2011, and as the Owner of Marble Multimedia, where they provided freelance web development and design services to various clients from January 2002 to May 2011.

Hugh also gained experience as an HCI Designer at Singularity, where they were involved in front-end interface and user experience design from June 2009 to October 2009. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Web Designer at Family Action Letterkenny in November 2007, and as the Head Web Developer at Ailim Community Development & Training Agency, where they were responsible for developing and promoting a website from March 2007 to February 2008.

Hugh Law obtained an MSc degree in Computing and Creative Technologies from Ulster University, which they attended from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they received a BSc (Hons) degree in Multimedia Computing & Design from the same institution from 2005 to 2008. Additionally, Law earned an HND in Music Production from North West Institute of Further & Higher Education from 2000 to 2002. In terms of additional certifications, they completed Agile UX Training and UX Foundation Training from UXTraining.com, obtaining them in October 2014 and June 2014, respectively.
