Nikos Zois

Nikos Zois has a diverse background in software engineering, with experience in various companies and roles. Nikos began their career as a Web Developer at Ioanninafood.eu, where they co-founded the company and managed the website and a small team of employees. Nikos then joined SoftLoop as a Web Developer, specializing in developing and maintaining web projects using frameworks such as CodeIgniter PHP and Bootstrap.

Afterwards, Nikos worked at Recursive Software Development as a Web Developer, focusing on web development projects. Nikos then returned to SoftLoop as a Software Developer, further expanding their programming skills.

In 2016, Nikos joined Accepted Ltd as a Software Engineer, where they contributed to the design and development of reactive, concurrent, and distributed services. Nikos also participated in the development of automated provision systems.

In 2019, Nikos fulfilled military duties at the Hellenic Army and worked as a Software Engineer, where they developed and maintained the Hellenic Army health care platform using various programming languages and tools.

Continuing their career, Nikos joined Inaccess as a Software Engineer, collaborating with a team to improve existing software and design new distributed services. Nikos utilized languages such as GoLang, Java, SQL, and CQL, and worked with tools like Proto.actor and Akka.

Next, Nikos joined Hyype as a Software Engineer, responsible for designing and building the infrastructure of backend services and CI/CD pipelines. Nikos utilized various technologies, including Kotlin and GoLang for backend services, and AWS Cloud Services for hosting and scaling.

Most recently, Nikos joined Hellas Direct as a Software Engineer, where they developed, maintained, and extended end-to-end backend services and automated processes utilizing agile methodologies and tools like Scrum and GitLab CI/CD.

Currently, Nikos is working as a Software Engineer at Heetch, focusing on software development tasks.

Nikos Zois obtained a Diploma of Computer Science & Engineering (BSc & MSc) from the University of Ioannina, where they pursued a field of study in Computer Software Engineering. Nikos attended the university from 2011 to 2017. In addition, they obtained a Certificate of Training in Scrum for Value from Agile For Value in January 2017.
