Rekha Skantharaja

As President & CEO of Tangram Insurance Services, Rekha has the privilege of building an independently owned, privately held company on her terms. Tangram architects and distributes specialty insurance programs in niche industries across the U.S. Her mission is to help people realize the opportunity in this industry and empower them to create their own successful career path, and believes this is particularly important for women and minorities. Under Rekha’s leadership, Tangram has experienced accelerated financial growth and cultural transformation over the last 10 years. Her team is working to scale the Company over the next 10 years while remaining independent, progressive and diverse.

Rekha is a graduate of Boston University where she earned her degree in International Relations. She is a member of the Young Presidents Organization and a Board Director of a prominent Bay Area performing arts nonprofit. She has earned the Women to Watch award from Business Insurance and been included on the Global 100 list by Insurance Business America for 4 years running. Most important to Rekha is her work around diversity and equality as she participates on numerous committees, advocates and speaks around the country, and drives change at Tangram.
