Vincent Heuveline

Vincent Heuveline currently serves as Chief Information Officer and Director of the Computing Center at Heidelberg University, while also leading the Engineering Mathematics and Computing Lab. Additionally, Vincent is a Group Leader in Data Mining and Uncertainty Quantification at the Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies. Prior roles include Director of the Engineering Mathematics and Computing Lab and Head of the Institute on Numerical Simulation, Optimization and High-Performance Computing at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Vincent has held various academic positions, including Associate Professor at the University Heidelberg and Vice Director of the Computing Centre at the University Karlsruhe. Education includes a PhD in Computer Science from Université Rennes 2 and a Diplom Mathematik from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg. Prior research experience includes a position as a Research Associate at INRIA.
