Paul Faber, RRM

Paul Faber has a diverse work experience in risk management and photography. Paul currently works at Heinenoord Assuradeuren as a Risk Manager, responsible for developing and implementing the risk management function. In this role, they support the organization in being 'in control' to increase shareholder value. Previously, they worked at ARAG Rechtsbijstand, where they managed a team of professionals in various areas of risk management and auditing. Paul also had responsibilities in conjunction with Group Internal Audit.

Prior to that, Paul worked at Aegon Nederland as a Senior Operational Risk Manager, where they advised and supported the board and management on risk-related issues and performed various risk management activities. Paul also worked at De Friesland Zorgverzekeraar and FBTO as an Operational Risk Manager, where they advised on potential risks, identified threats, and put plans in place to minimize risks. Additionally, they worked at Centraal Beheer Achmea, Avéro Achmea, and Eureko in risk management roles.

Outside of their risk management career, Paul owned a photography business called Paul Faber Fotografie, where they worked as an owner and photographer. Paul also worked at FBTO as a Manager of non-life Portfolio Management, where they managed a service team and coached individuals and teams on goals and skills.

Paul Faber, RRM, has a diverse education history. Paul started their education journey at Marist College from 1989 to 1991, where they focused on Communications. After a gap in their education, they pursued further studies at NHL Hogeschool from 2001 to 2003, obtaining a Post-Bachelor degree in Business Management. In 2008, they attended De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences, specializing in Certified Risk Management (RRM) and earning another Post-Bachelor degree. Lastly, from 2018 to 2020, Paul Faber enrolled at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, studying Organizational Leadership.

In addition to their formal education, Paul Faber has also obtained additional certifications. In 2014, they completed the English Language Teaching TEFL/TESOL program with Merit at TEFL Express. Furthermore, in 2012, they received the Auditing SAP ERC certification from ISP Software, Inc.
