William Jou has a diverse work experience in the field of mechanical engineering. William began their career as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at IHI E&C International Corporation in 2015. William then worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin in 2016. William later joined Stanford University as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they worked on integrating learning algorithms into real-world products and conducted a human study to understand user interaction with autonomous products. William also served as a Course Assistant at Stanford's Product Realization Lab, teaching students about manufacturing processes and design principles. William then transitioned to Mindtribe Product Engineering in 2019, where they worked as a Mechanical Engineer. William further expanded their expertise at Joby Aviation as a Manufacturing Engineer from 2021 to 2023. Currently, William is employed as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Heirloom since 2023.
William Jou completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, from 2013 to 2017. William then pursued further education at Stanford University, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2017 to 2019.
