Sebastian Hilbig

Sebastian Hilbig has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sebastian started their career as a IT consultant, web and print designer at NIS Hannover in 1995 and stayed there until 2006. From 1998 to 2000, they worked at DLW Unternehmensberatung as an IT consultant, web designer, and programmer. In 2001, they became a student assistant at Universität Hildesheim, a position they held until 2004. Sebastian then joined ID.on in 2004 as a software developer, focusing on educational publishers and master data management. Sebastian stayed with ID.on until 2008 when they transitioned to Heise, where they held multiple roles including software developer, team leader in web development, head of platform integration, and currently the CTO.

Sebastian Hilbig earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Informationsmanagement und Informationstechnologie from Stiftung Universität Hildesheim, where they studied from 2000 to 2004.
