Sophie Amid-Hozour

Sophie Amid-Hozour, MSW, currently serves as the CEO Fund Associate at the Heising-Simons Foundation since February 2023. Prior to this role, Sophie held the position of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Plug and Play Tech Center from January 2021 to March 2023. Experience includes an internship in Corporate Engagement at Humanity United in 2018 and a Volunteer Coordinator position at Catholic Charities in 2017, where responsibilities involved training, recruiting, and managing 160 volunteers. Additionally, Sophie served as the Assistant Program Director for the Catholic Charities Youth Club from 2015 to 2017. Educational qualifications encompass a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California, earned in December 2022, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from Santa Clara University, completed in 2021.
