Tim Austrup

Tim Austrup is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in corporate banking and finance. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Corporate Banking at Helaba since October 2007, Tim oversees the bank's large corporate clients, managing relationship teams in Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, and abroad, as well as product teams focused on asset-backed, export, acquisition, and corporate lending. Previously, Tim held various leadership roles at Helaba, including Managing Director of Corporate Finance and Head of Loan Markets, and gained significant experience at Barclays Capital as a Director in Global Loans, and at ING as Vice President specializing in media finance. Tim's educational background includes an MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School and ongoing studies at HEC Paris, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Banking from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University.
