Blaire Leighty

Blaire Leighty is an experienced veterinary professional with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences from the University of California, Davis. Currently serving as a Veterinary Assistant at Helen Woodward Animal Center since August 2019, Blaire supports surgical procedures and animal examinations. Prior experience includes roles as a Wildlife Technician at San Diego Wildlife Center, where responsibilities involved the intake and treatment of injured wildlife, and as a Research Technician at Miraculex Inc., encompassing lab and greenhouse maintenance.
