David Hartmann

David Hartmann is an experienced executive with a diverse background in various industries. David is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Helio Additive, a position they have held since 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Covestro, where they held multiple roles over the course of their career. David served as Senior Vice President, Growth Ventures from August 2018 to June 2020, where they focused on accelerating growth in sustainability-focused areas. David also co-led the global composites business as Co-CEO Composites from June 2016 to February 2019. Additionally, they served as the Global Business Model Innovation Leader for Polycarbonates from June 2015 to May 2016. Before joining Covestro, David took a sabbatical from July 2014 to June 2015. David also held various positions in sales excellence, corporate development, strategy consulting, supply chain management, order management, and logistics at Covestro from 2004 to 2014. Alongside their corporate experience, David founded Sendinaden in 2015 and worked as a Founder until May 2017. David began their career as a Project Manager at Symcomm from April 2003 to May 2004. Overall, David Hartmann has a strong background in executive leadership, business strategy, sustainability, and operations management.

David Hartmann's education history begins in 1991 when they attended the French School of Sydney. David then attended St. Kentigern College from 1997 to 1999.

In 2000, David enrolled at The University of Auckland and pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on International Business and Computer Science. David completed this program in 2003.

During their time at The University of Auckland, in 2003, David also embarked on a MiniMBA program at SmartSims, concentrating on management and strategy.

Following their undergraduate studies, David pursued a Masters of International Business degree from The University of Auckland, which they completed in 2004.

In 2018, David attended Stifinder for a brief period, focusing on Authentic Leadership.
