Hsin Yao Cheng

Hsin Yao Cheng has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Hsin Yao is currently the Founder of Helios, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Entrepreneur In Residence at Wavemaker Impact from July 2022 to February 2023. Hsin was also the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Omakase Group, where they worked from 2012 until 2022. Hsin Yao began their career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs from 2010 to 2012. Hsin also gained experience in investment banking through summer analyst roles at Goldman Sachs, Macquarie Capital, and Cohen & Compagnie SAS. Additionally, they interned at the Office of the President of Singapore and worked as a Planning Officer at the Singapore Police Force.

Hsin Yao Cheng completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Chicago from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended Raffles Institution from 2002 to 2003 as part of the Humanities Scholarship Program. Hsin Yao completed their secondary education at Hwa Chong Institution from 1998 to 2002.
