Amelia Markey

Amelia Markey is a seasoned professional in scientific and editorial services, currently serving as Head of Scientific and Editorial Services at Helios Global Group since October 2016, with previous roles as Scientific Services Director, Scientific Director, Associate Scientific Director, and Scientific Lead. Prior to this, Amelia gained extensive experience at QXV Comms from August 2013 to October 2016, holding positions as a Scientific Specialist, Project Leader, Associate Project Leader, and Associate Medical Writer. Amelia's academic background includes a PhD project focused on microfluidic devices at the University of Manchester, after graduating with Merit in MRes Translational Medicine. Additionally, Amelia completed a first-class BSc (Hons) in Biological Science at Lancaster University, where research centered on identifying corneal epithelial markers.
