Nick Williams

Nick Williams is currently the Group Financial Controller at Helius Therapeutics. Prior to this, they were the Projects Lead at Auckland City Mission, where they were responsible for financial modelling and strategic input, including funding applications, risk analysis for board decision making, and budgeting for the Mission's change in business model. Nick has also served as Interim CFO and Finance Director - Transition at Attenti, and as Group Chief Financial Officer at Accordant NZ.

Nick has a genuine interest in social enterprise and is a supporter of the work Auckland City Mission does. Nick took on the role at the Mission in order to help them prepare for a new strategic direction, changing their focus from feeding the homeless to housing the homeless. This included managing two significant housing projects in partnership with the government to house sub-sectors of the homeless community. Both projects are now up and running and are fully funded and staffed.

Nick Williams completed a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Cape Town, majoring in Accounting, Economics, and Business. Nick also attended De Villiers Graaf High School.

Their manager is Paul Manning, Chief Executive Officer. They work with Bruce Wallace - Chief Quality Officer, Dr Jim Polston - Chief Science Officer, and Carmen Doran - Chief Operating Officer.
