Zak Whiting

Zak Whiting is an experienced formulation chemist at Helius Therapeutics since July 2020, contributing to the research and development of medicinal cannabis products from concept to commercialization. Prior experience includes roles as a Supply Chain Associate and Teaching Assistant at The University of Auckland, where Zak supervised undergraduate students in pharmacology laboratories, emphasizing safety protocols. Additional research experience at The University of Auckland involved work as a Casual Research Technician in microbiology and participation in science outreach projects related to the electromagnetic spectrum. Zak holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Pharmacology and a Bachelor of Science in Medicinal Chemistry from The University of Auckland.
