Julia Carvalho

Julia Carvalho has a diverse work experience. Julia currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Of Staff at HelixNano, a role they began in 2021. Prior to this, they were a part of the Empower Project in 2020, where they joined temporarily for the 2020 election to scale up relational organizing. In 2016, they were a founding member of the Wave Mobile Money team, responsible for product strategy and spinning up teams. Before that, they were a Software Development Engineer at Microsoft, a role they held from 2014.

Julia Carvalho attended Harvard University from 2010 to 2014, where they studied Computer Science.
