Dr Satyendra Kumar

Dr. Satyendra Kumar has a diverse and extensive work experience, spanning over several decades. Dr Satyendra began their career as a Charge de Research at Ecole Polytechnique, France in 1987 and later worked as a Research Associate at Penn State University. In 1990, they joined IIT Kanpur as a Professor, where they served for 20 years. During their time at IIT Kanpur, Dr. Kumar visited Ecole Polytechnique as a Visiting Professor and conducted research on microcrystalline silicon films, which were successfully used in high mobility TFTs by a display company.

In 2003, Dr. Kumar became the Secretary of the SID India Chapter at the Society for Information Display, USA. Dr Satyendra later served as the Vice Chairman of the SID India Chapter at the Society for Information Display from 2009 to 2014. In 2008, they joined Lanco Infratech as the Chief Technology Officer, where they remained until 2013.

Continuing their pursuit in the renewable energy sector, Dr. Kumar joined Saurya Enertech in 2013 as the Director and Chief Technology Officer. In 2014, they became a Director at Swajal. In 2015, Dr. Kumar started working with Emergent Ventures India as the Chief Mentor for Solar. Dr Satyendra'srole at Emergent Ventures India lasted until June 2016.

Throughout their career, Dr. Satyendra Kumar has demonstrated expertise in display technology, renewable energy, and research, making significant contributions in their field.

Dr Satyendra Kumar attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi from 1981 to 1986. Dr Satyendra also studied at École Polytechnique from 1984 to 1985, focusing on LPNHE-Equipe Solaire. Additionally, they have attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, although the specific dates are unknown.
