David Wells

David Wells is currently a VDC Technician at Helm Group, specializing in mechanical pipe BIM modeling, design build, and renovations since November 2023. Prior to this role, David served as a Project Engineer at Advance Mechanical Systems, Inc. from August 2016 to November 2023, focusing on the design and fabrication of HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical piping systems for various building types in the Greater Chicago Area. Earlier experience includes working as a Piping Designer at ECE CAD Technologies, where responsibilities encompassed 3D pipe modeling, P&ID design, and project implementation, and as a CAD Drafter at Unistrut, designing medical support systems and participating in BIM coordination.
