Melinda Ward

Melinda Ward has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Melinda is currently working as the Director of Consulting Solutions and Managed Services at HELM360, where they provide strategic leadership to the Consulting and Managed Services teams. Melinda supports clients in improving efficiency, reducing costs, and maximizing their software investments.

Prior to that, Melinda founded The Consultant Mentor in 2021, where they offer mentoring services to new and existing consultants, leveraging their 25 years of global consulting experience.

From 2013 to 2020, Melinda worked at Intapp as a Senior Principal Consultant. Melinda helped top global law firms and consultancies optimize their investments in new systems and increase adoption. Melinda also mentored and developed the global remote Principal Consulting team.

Before joining Intapp, Melinda served as the Director of MW Strategic Consulting Ltd. in 2012. In this role, they provided thought leadership and strategic business development guidance to clients in various industries, including legal, aviation components, B2B software, dental laboratories, and sustainable economic development.

From 2011 to 2012, Melinda worked at Thomson Reuters Elite as the Global Consulting Manager. Melinda optimized consultant team utilization, refined resource scheduling processes, and reduced turnover through effective coaching and employee engagement strategies. Prior to this role, they were also the UK Implementation Consulting Manager and Senior Solutions Consultant at Thomson Reuters Elite from 2002 to 2011.

At SEI Information Technology, Melinda served as the Consultant Manager and Business Consultant from 1995 to 2002. Melinda provided professional development, consultant management, and mentoring for a diverse range of projects in industries such as in-vehicle navigation, restaurant point-of-sale systems, telephone call routing systems, and legal practice management.

Melinda started their career at Panasonic PCSC/POS in 1989. Melinda held roles as a Senior Test Engineer, Technical Writer, and Technical Support Analyst, working closely with McDonald's on hardware and software development projects, documentation, and technical support.
