Valerie Vaughan

Valerie Vaughan, MA, GPHR has extensive experience in human resources and organizational development. Valerie currently holds the position of Vice President Human Resources Strategy & Transformation at Helmerich & Payne, where they previously served as Vice President Human Resources Strategy & Organizational Development. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Organizational Development at the same company.

Prior to joining Helmerich & Payne, Valerie served as the Director of Global Talent Development at T.D. Williamson, where they were responsible for designing and implementing talent development strategies. Before that, they worked as the Director of Human Resources at Hilti, where they aligned HR initiatives with the business strategy and provided HR solutions to various business functions.

Valerie also has experience working in Afghanistan, where they served as the Director of Business Development & Training at Silk Road Solutions. In this role, they facilitated training programs for Afghan leaders to empower them to find sustainable solutions for the challenges they face.

Valerie's earlier work experience includes serving as a Human Resources Business Partner at Level 3 Communications and Williams Communications, where they developed and implemented HR programs for a diverse workforce.

Valerie Vaughan, MA, GPHR, holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Human Resources from Oklahoma State University. Valerie further pursued their education at the University of Oklahoma and obtained a Masters of Arts in Organizational Dynamics. In addition to their academic qualifications, Valerie has obtained several certifications to supplement their expertise, including Hogan Assessments Certified from Hogan Assessment Systems in 2016, SHRM-SCP from SHRM in 2015, DiSC from KnowledgeWorkx in 2011, Center for Advanced Coaching 90-Day Turn Coach from Center for Advanced Coaching in 2010, Cultural Mapping & Navigation Certified Trainer from KnowledgeWorkx in 2009, and RLG Certified Performance Management Coach from RLG International in 1999. Valerie is also a certified GPHR by the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
