Betty Kuria

Betty Kuria, SPHR, CPC, ELI-MP has over 16 years of experience in various HR roles. Betty started their career at Sears Holdings Corporation as an Area HR Manager, where they provided support to multiple districts and implemented HR compliance metrics and recognition programs. Betty then joined JCPenney as a Field Sr. HR Manager, where they managed HR measures, facilitated leadership development training, and handled employee relations issues. At Fujitsu Americas, Betty served as the Head of HRBP Practice, collaborating with HR Specialist functions and implementing HR initiatives. Betty later became the Human Resources Director at Conifer Health Solutions before taking on their current role as the Vice President Human Resources at Help at Home.

Betty Kuria, SPHR, CPC, ELI-MP, holds an MBA in Organizational Behavior & HR Management from the University of North Texas, which they obtained between 2002 and 2005. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Kenyatta University. Betty has also obtained several certifications, including the Energy Leadership™ Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP) from iPEC Coaching in 2021, and the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification from HRCI in 2007 and 2020.
