Joyce Magbanua, MSN, RN, NE-BC has a diverse work experience spanning several healthcare organizations. Joyce started their career as a Shift Nurse in the Pediatric Home Health department at ChildrenFirst Health Care System. Joyce then moved on to work as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - Level II Nurse at Orlando Health. Following this, Joyce joined Nirvana Health Services, where they held various roles including Nurse Case Manager, Director of Case Management, and Administrator of Operations. Joyce then worked at Sunshine Health, a Centene subsidiary, as a Registered Nurse in Utilization Management. After that, they joined Open Systems Healthcare as the Director of Nursing for the Orlando Branch and later became the Senior Director of Clinical Operations. Currently, Joyce is working at Help at Home, initially as the Director of Operations for Care Coordination and currently as the Regional Director for the same department. With their extensive experience and leadership roles, Joyce has developed a strong background in clinical operations, care coordination, and utilization management.
Joyce Magbanua, MSN, RN, NE-BC has a diverse education history. Joyce obtained a Certificate in Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse Training from Orlando Tech in 2007. In 2012, they completed an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree from Excelsior University. Joyce furthered their education at Wilkes University, earning a Master of Science in Nursing degree specializing in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from 2017 to 2020. Currently, Joyce is pursuing their Doctorate in Nursing Practice at Wilkes University, which they are expected to complete in 2025. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained their Registered Nurse license from the Florida State Board of Nursing in 2013 and achieved the Nurse Executive (NE-BC) certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center in 2020.
