Chief Technology Officer at Helping Habit

Mark Eagle has worked in various roles in the tech industry since 2008. Mark began their career as the CTO of VarVee, a SaaS startup that celebrated high school sports. In 2011, they moved to Starboard Storage Systems as the Director of Customer Service, providing cross-functional leadership with the developers and QA team. In 2012, they became a fractional CTO, consulting with and investing in startups. In 2014, they joined The CE Shop, Inc. as the Director of Software Development and Everything else IT. Mark then moved to bWERX as CTO in 2015, before merging with Uncommon Solutions Inc. in 2016, where they became the Director of Development Services, Project Manager, Business Analyst, and Solutions Architect. In 2019, they became President/CTO of The World Alliance for the Volunteer Economy and also took on a part-time CTO role at Gusher (Video). Finally, in 2020 they became the Chief Technology Officer at Helping Habit PBC, winning the Colorado Institute for Social Impact's Prism award for the Social Impact Startup of the Year. In 2021, they joined Founder Advisors as a Lead Advisor, providing advice to startups from inception to exit on all aspects of their journey.

Mark Eagle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Industrial Psychology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Mark has also obtained several certifications, including a Mentoring Certificate from Bridge for Billions in October 2021, an Introduction to User Experience Design from the Georgia Institute of Technology in March 2021, Know Thyself --The Value and Limits of Self Knowledge: The Unconscious from the University of Edinburgh School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences in December 2020, The Science of Well Being from Yale University in November 2020, Introduction to Programming Using Python from Coursera Course Certificates in June 2020, and The Power of Microeconomics: Economic Principles in the Real World from the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education in March 2020.
