Viral Patel has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Viral is currently the Head of Product Marketing at Helpshift since October 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Marketing Advisor at DruvStar starting from January 2021. One of their notable roles was as the Founder and COO of GetSocial, a SaaS startup that was eventually acquired by Keywords Studios. During their time at GetSocial from September 2011 to October 2023, they provided financial and product stewardship, driving digital marketing efforts, product strategy, and strategic partnerships. Before GetSocial, Viral worked as a Change Management Consultant at Commonwealth Bank of Australia from March 2011 to December 2011, where they successfully managed a multi-million dollar project and conducted business analysis. Viral also served as an IT Management Consultant at Mirixa Corporation from February 2010 to January 2011, where they orchestrated sales and service activities for IT products and provided critical intelligence for decision-making. Earlier in their career, Viral held the role of Senior Software Engineer at ContentKeeper Technologies from September 2005 to May 2009, where they designed and developed an advanced web filtering and security reporting system. Throughout their career, Viral has showcased their expertise in finance, HR, operations, marketing, product strategy, and decision-making.

Viral Patel completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from The Australian National University in 2006. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from the University of Technology Sydney, which they completed in 2011. Additionally, they obtained various certifications, including Email Marketing and Inbound Marketing from HubSpot, Google Ads Fundamentals and Google Ads Search from Google, and a Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance. Viral also holds a SAP Certificate from UTS: University of Technology Sydney, obtained in 2011.
