Håkon Brydøy has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Håkon started their career in 1987 as a Project Engineer at Oil Industry Services AS, where they were involved in planning, estimating, and project reporting for the Ekofisk Jack-Up project. Håkon then moved on to Kristiansand Mekaniske Verksted AS as a Planning Lead, overseeing the Oseberg C LQ - EPC Contract and other follow-up activities. In 1990, they joined Norwegian Contractors AS as a Planning Manager for the Snorre CFT and later became the Planning Manager for Troll A GBS Civil Section. Håkon joined Kværner Installasjon AS in 1994, serving as a Siviløkonom/Business Development Mrg, handling tender, contract, and project execution strategies. Håkon then progressed to senior roles at PwC and Acona CMG before joining KPMG Norway as a Senior Manager. Håkon directed projects as the Director at KPMG and later became the Project Director at Helse Stavanger, Stavanger universitetssjukehus in 2016.
Håkon Brydøy has a diverse education history that includes a Master of Science in Business Administration (siviløkonom) from the University of Agder (UiA), which they obtained from 1987 to 1994. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Newcastle University from 1983 to 1984.
