Jan Mathisen

Jan Mathisen currently serves as Spesialrådgiver at Helsedirektoratet since February 2024, following a tenure as Direktør at HELFO from February 2012 to January 2024. Prior roles include Regiondirektør at Skatteetaten Skatt sør and Fylkesskattesjef at Skatteetaten - Vestfold, alongside managerial experience at KMPG AS and leadership as Rådmann in both Horten and Steigen municipalities. Jan Mathisen began a diverse educational journey at the Norwegian School of Economics and continued to acquire various qualifications, including a Cand.jur from the University of Oslo and coaching skills from BI Handelshøyskole. Ongoing studies at BI Norwegian Business School are set to conclude in June 2024.
