İlker Bozcan

İlker Bozcan is an AI Research Engineer at Helsing since November 2021, with prior experience as a PhD Fellow at Aarhus University from October 2018 to September 2021, where the focus was on Learning-based Anomaly Detection for Aerial Surveillance. İlker has published in prestigious robotics and machine learning conferences such as ICRA and IROS and contributed to establishing the AU Artificial Intelligence in Robotics Lab. Additional experience includes a Machine Learning Internship at Micropsi Industries in early 2021, where a prototype feature for the MIRAI product was developed, and a role as a Deep Learning Engineer at Baumeister AI, where a computer vision module was created. Earlier research at KOVAN Research Lab involved contextualized scene models and object detection for robotic applications. İlker holds a PhD in Computer Engineering from Aarhus University, a Master’s degree in Robotics and Deep Learning from Middle East Technical University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the same institution.
